In kindergarten, students learn and begin to develop numerous essential skills that will be critical in their learning journey and will be the stepping stones of their academics. The skills they learn in kindergarten can have a lasting impact on them well into their adult years. Although not all states require children to attend kindergarten, studies have shown that there are a multitude of benefits to receiving a kindergarten education.

Our kindergarten homeschool curriculum is both fun and engaging for kindergarten students and makes this crucial first year of homeschooling much easier on parents.
How do I choose a kindergarten homeschool curriculum?
You need to think about the following:
- Does the curriculum make your life easier? Homeschooling shouldn’t mean hours of prep work.
- Is the material taught in a clear way?
- Are there enough opportunities for children to build-up their skills?
- Do the exercises within the curriculum encourage problem-solving skills?

great price for what’s included
Not very easy to use or printer friendly

The curriculum is ok. I won’t continue on in other grades. I like the math portion, but the rest of it is pretty basic. I’m the most disappointed in the language arts section. I expected more from that section. There were a ton of short stories; but not enough lesson content, and towards the end a lot of the stories were duplicated
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your honest feedback. We’re glad to hear the math portion worked well for your family!
We’re sorry the language arts section didn’t meet your expectations, and your comments about wanting more lesson content alongside the stories are helpful as we continue improving our courses. You may have noticed that many stories are read across two lessons. This is intentional: rereading familiar text builds fluency and confidence in early readers, and each reading is paired with different phonics, comprehension, and writing activities in the Parent Teaching Guide.Thank you so much for taking the time to share your honest feedback. We’re glad to hear the math portion worked well for your family!
Same
I do not feel it was level accurate and did not feel like it was worth it
I wish it had a physical book option instead of having to print of 1200 pages just for the student book of language arts! That’s just crazy I
Thank you for the feedback! We totally understand the page count can look overwhelming at first glance, so we wanted to clarify that the curriculum doesn’t actually need to be printed in full. Most families use a hybrid approach by having their student read the lesson material right on a tablet or computer, and only printing the worksheets/assignments that need to be filled out by hand. That cuts down the printing significantly.
The higher page count comes from the fact that we include all reading materials directly in the curriculum, so you’re not left needing to buy separate textbooks or readers on top of what you’ve already purchased because everything’s included in one place. We know that trade-off (fewer separate purchases, but a bigger digital file) isn’t for everyone, but we hope this helps make the printing side feel more manageable! Feel free to reach out if you’d like tips on what we’d recommend printing vs. reading digitally.
Great! It covers a wide variety of curriculum needs and set us up with a easy to use foundation.
Good
My kindergartner is doing Great, she specially loves science. She loves all the different activities and videos that are provided. I really do enjoy that everything is planned out day by day. I just looked at it the day before and get my things ready for the next day. this is a great curriculum. I would definitely recommend this for any homes, School Family. That is looking for a great program. Not confusing whatsoever.
Very basic. The science curriculum is terrible, essentially a textbook of jobs. I suggest not to get this.
Hi Peter, I am sorry you weren’t happy with the curriculum. Did you take a look at the Parent Teaching Guide in addition to the student coursebook? That’s where the true learning information lies in this grade level. Since students can’t work on their own at this time, we focus mostly on the Parent Teaching Guide and the Student Coursebook is just the reading materials and any printable worksheets so that it is easy for parents to print and use the curriculum without having lots of unnecessary pages. If you reach out to us, we’d be happy to go over this with you. 🙂
I love this curriculum. This everything a 5/6 year old needs for early learning. It’s so easy to follow and work through
Very good
I love that all the lesson plans are ready to use and all I have do it print and teach
I really like the format, my older two kids can work independently while I work with my littlest two. It gives me the freedom to explore what my kids are interested in and the subjects they need to reach that goal.
Must Have!
Great curriculum!
I am blown away by the depth of the Language Arts student workbook. With over 1,200 pages of content, it is incredibly thorough and covers everything from letter sounds to beginning writing.
The Parent Teaching Guides are a lifesaver because I can just keep them on my tablet while my child works through the printed worksheets. It’s organized, professional, and very easy to follow.
This is a lot of content for the price! 180 lessons of Math and LA plus Science and Social Studies—you really don’t need to buy anything else for the entire year.
If you want a solid foundation in Kindergarten, get this. It covers all the bases—counting, spelling, force/motion, and community—in a very organized, professional way.
Love this one for kinder! Completely age appropriate and it’s seriously helping my kids. I have 2 doing it and they love school with this program! I plan to continue with higher grades. Can’t beat the price!
Finding a curriculum that includes everything—Math, LA, Science, and Social Studies—in one place has saved me so much time. The Language Arts program is especially impressive, as it doesn’t just teach the alphabet but dives into text connections and characters. My child is already starting to recognize sight words and simple spelling patterns. The Parent Teaching Guide makes it so I don’t have to guess how to explain new concepts. It really is a complete package that ensures no learning gaps.
The Science curriculum is so engaging! My daughter loves learning about the five senses and force and motion—the lessons are just the right length for her attention span.
We love the Social Studies units on community helpers and neighborhoods. It’s the perfect way to introduce big world concepts to a five-year-old in a way they actually understand.
I gave myself a few months of using this curriculum to give an honest review. I absolutely love this. You’re able to pick and choose what to use, if they have mastered it or all ready know the material, super easy to move on or up a grade. So far the only suggestion would be in grade one, the language arts practicing writing letters to make the lower case a in the natural form of a circle and then down instead of how a computer would write it. If needed, searching a simple practice writing page could be found and used instead or cross it out and show the child the easier way. That’s what I did.
Absolutely perfect for my autistic granddaughter! Super easy to do and follow!
I don’t even use this. Won’t use it. It’s awful. Makes no sense. I’d give it a 0 rating if i could.
Becky, I’m so sorry to hear you feel this way about the curriculum. I looked at your account and it appears you only downloaded the student worksheets and not the Parent Teaching Guide. That’s likely why it felt confusing — the student files include only the worksheets for your child to complete and don’t contain the instructional material.
The Parent Teaching Guide is where you’ll find the full lesson plans, step-by-step instructions, daily learning objectives, background information, and fun activities to do with your child. Once you have that guide, the program will make much more sense and flow the way it’s designed to.
If you’d like, I can help you access and download the Parent Teaching Guide so you can experience the curriculum as intended.

Seems to work well
Very good. Love that they have everything planned out for you.
The 180-day Math schedule is perfect. We never feel rushed, and the introduction to addition and subtraction is the most logical I’ve seen in any Kindergarten program.
Great
Even though my kindergarten kid goes to public school, this helps me fill the gaps that they are missing or that they may be struggling with.
The Parent Teaching Guides are a dream for organized homeschooling. Having the answer keys and lesson prompts on my phone while my child works through the material is so convenient.
I love the social studies and science curriculum. I really wish that I could buy the curriculum already printed and put together. Or even just printed for me to sort into binders, that would be mighty helpful and save me a lot of time.
I was a bit intimidated by the page count of the Language Arts workbook, but once we started, I realized why it’s so big—it is packed with variety! There are so many worksheets and little books included that keep my kindergartner from getting bored. The focus on setting, characters, and events has really improved her reading comprehension during our nightly storytime. I also appreciate that the Parent Guide is digital-friendly, so I’m not printing out hundreds of extra pages for myself. It’s a very smart, well-designed system.
This curriculum has taken all the ‘prep stress’ out of my life. The fact that the Parent Teaching Guides don’t need to be printed is a huge win for my ink budget! The lessons are clearly numbered, and the instructions for the parents are straightforward and encouraging. It’s the perfect balance of digital convenience for the parent and paper-and-pencil learning for the child.
A lot of material and very thorough
It has been amazing for my 7 year old who’s autistic. My 4 year old twins are also learning a lot using this program
Haven’t started this yet, but I’ve had such a good experience with the preschool curriculum that I’m sure we’ll enjoy this just as much!
Love it
